Internet cafes are in all tourist places. The next Internet café is about 5 minutes walking from your guest house.
To Europe you can phone from all public telephones. Phone cards you can get in all supermarkets.

At many cash dispensers you can get money with Visa card, Master card and Eurocard. We advise you to exchange cash only in banks or exchange offices. In addition, travel checks are changed in each bank.
The present currency is the Real. Lately the currency is stable, but in the last years it has been not stable.

The national language of Brazil is Portuguese. In large cities and tourist places English is spoken too. In addition Brazilians do understand your body language.

We recommend to take along more summer clothe and beachwear, although you can buy this at each corner.
For the evenings it is good to have a sweater, cause it is a little bit cooler.
